NYSE says it will no longer delist three Chinese telecom giants
The New York Stock Exchange said it no longer plans to delist three Chinese telecommunications giants: China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom.
뉴욕 증권거래소는 중국 통신대기업인 차이나텔레콤, 차이나모바일 그리고 차이나유니콤을 상장 폐지하지 않을 것이라고 말했다.
The NYSE had originally planned to drop those listings in order to comply with an executive order that President Donald Trump signed in November.
당초 지난 11월 트럼프대통령의 행정명령을 따르기 위해 상장폐지를 하려고 했었다.
That order sought to bar American companies and individuals from investing in firms that the Trump administration alleged aid the Chinese military.
그러나 그런 명령은 미국회사나 국민들이 트럼프 행정부가 의심하는 중국군을 돕는 회사들에 투자하는 것에 금지하려고 하는 명령이었다.
아직 마윈의 행방이 묘연한 가운데...
